Default 4Runner - Dual Battery Custom Trays!

I am researching a dual battery sytem, and found on Toyota120 a thread with a nice custom battery tray solution:

    http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showt...9&page=2&pp=20

This may be a good solution for the 4Runner owners so I thought I'd reference it. They are trying to put together a group buy, but if that falls through I have thrown my hat in the ring to have a turn with the patterns and I can make my own.

    Looks pretty professional all installed.

    Very classy!

What group batteries does it hold? Is it sourced from a Prado or similar?

    Nice find

He actually had it custom fabricated... check out the models he made before he approached the shop:

with those fine models they made him these:

So he can mount the battery up front, and an ARB compressor behind the intake.

As for battery size, here is what he mounted:

Apparently an Optima D34 could have also been used.
The Blue Optima D31 was to large.

Oh... and he talked the shop down to $250 to fab it for him.

I saw this setup in Big Bear last weekend. Looks so clean you can't tell it's not factory.
