Default Disabled Explorers on Local News

Big Thanks to all of you who have donated and helped make Disabled Exploers a reality....
Still working on the trip reports...
    And Pictures...
    And Video...
    And Articles....
And trying to put together a September Ride-Along event in Socal..
And an October Ride-Along event here in Phx...
And the Expo Trophy in Oct...
    And SEMA in Nov...
and a big trip in Dec....

But at least word is starting to get out...
And Big Thanks to Wen of Sierra Expeditions who contacted these folks to let them know what we are up to!

    http://www.kpho.com/community/13901370/detail.html

They filmed for an hour where I mentioned the help from the locals & out of state, the events, and how we work with the disabled and in the end is was chopped down to 1.5 min, I understand and it is better than nothing....and what was using some of our video & pic's

Thanks again to all that have supported up and for your help in the future!

    Default Excellent!

Nice story. A minute and half on the local news is great. Having the video archived on their website is even better. Having your content integrated into their story is even better than that. Every second of your video that they used gets you that much closer to the goal of owning the message. It is much better for you to tell your story than to have someone else try to tell it for you. But you need the media to help you spread the word. So investing your time in helping them tell your story the way you want it told is worth the effort. The alternative is to have them ignore you or, worse yet, tell your story wrong.
