Default I need a nice, entry level, tandem kayak ..

I have decided to get my own kayak after using my friend boat for way too long, We usually take 3 or 4 daytrips per year at a local river but I am looking to start paddling a bit more.

I was looking at a Old Town Loon 15T @ 800 US or so, Its that a good choice?

Old Town kayaks are a good choice, they are well built and reasonably priced. I work around and with them each day and compared to some of the other major manufactures, they are on the upper end. Looking at picking up a couple of loons myself one day. Currently have a couple of mainstream kayaks, the price was to good to pass up and they are working well for now.
