    Tried it out with my 276c and Macbook Pro. Overall it was easy and only took a few seconds to transfer (which I was really pleased about). The new point was added as a with a simple grey square marker.

    It's too bad it can't do routes yet!

    Agreed , but at least we are no longer in the minority - and Garmin recognizes Google

    Many, many thanks.

    But I still can't figure out how to do the reverse -- get a trip recorded on GPS to Google Earth.

    A couple nice people have tried to explain it to me, but I can't quite seem to get it.

    Does Garmin not support GPX format? I've had the GMapToGPX script in my browser for years now.
