I was looking at the bed slide out boxes from tuffy for a trailer. They want like 1400 for one. Who would spend that much money on a box.

There are WAY more expensive options out there besides Tuffy. When I looked for storage options for my van, they had the best value.

I didn't see where it said how much there slide out's weigh... Does anyone know how much there 6' weighs??
Now if Lista made such boxes, THOSE would be expensive. And very worth it.
440 lbs per drawer and they glide to 100% open.
I used to swerve around my hallucinations, now I drive right through them.

Tuffy drawers are built fairly stout, which accounts for the weight. By the time you add dividers and such, you might need an extra inch of lift. My short box for the back of the CJ-7 is only 3 feet deep, but the system weighed over 75 pounds empty, and the dividers were another 5 or so. I had trouble with the ball bearings in the roller tracks falling out, but I was beating on the truck at the time.
