    It is not the best spare tire holder, but the fact it goes on and off easy by sliding into the receiver makes it handy. You can put a hitch on the receiver of the tire gate as well, just not sure what weight rating it had, i never used it.
    Regarding the TireGate.com swing away spare tire carrier, do you know if the tow rating decreases? It looks to be a great design, but we frequently tow heavy.

    Chilli - either you aren't as big as I thought, or that Chevy is a lot bigger than I thought.

    Our money pit: 2008 Dodge Power Wagon, G56 manual, rebuilt front end (Carli upper/lower ball joints, track bar, CroMo control arms, Spicer triple lip seal u-joints in front axle, PSC steering gearbox brace). Many more mods to come but they will be slow.

    This is our do-it-all-vehicle. Tows, hauls, works, d-driver (I keep it parked as much as possible) & plays & takes us out to dinner as well.

    thanks . locked front and rear on 41.5" pitbulls . custome inside and out . unfortunately as of now she is still just a street queen ( just got done ) i dont wana scratch her up yet .
