I noticed a lot of members think their mid-size vehicles fit the thread category. I thought Full-size refered to 3/4 ton and greater suspension. Dodge and Chevy/GMC 1500, Nissan Titan, Toyota Tundra and Ford F150 are 1/2 ton.

My understanding has always been that "full size" trucks are differentiated by being wide enough to carry a 4' wide sheet of plywood flat in the bed between the fenders. 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks are "heavy duty" full size trucks with the same dimensions (often with the exact same beds as the 1/2 tons). The original Toyota, Nissan, Chevrolet S-10, and Ford Ranger trucks were considered "compact trucks". When the Dodge Dakota came out, it was often referred to as "mid-size" because it was dimensionally in-between the two. I think some other trucks are considered "mid-sized" now (the Chevrolet Colorado and possibly the current generation of Toyota Tacomas).

2013 Tundra Crew max with new snug top and front level kit. Waiting on dual batt set up, fridge and Warn winch. I'm having CBI build a high clearance front receiver hitch for the Warn.

Absolutely shameless photo of my truck from yesterday. I'd love to say I don't normally take pictures like this but it's not true lol
