Recent shot of my 06 Ram with a new set of 305-70-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers (my 3rd set of these tires). They fit without any suspension mods on oem wheels with no rubbing but recently upgraded the suspension to a Carli Commuter system to smooth out the ride a bit and gain a little bit of front end clearance. It seems to help with the really rough stuff but not as much as I'd like with the common everyday driving bumps. I haven't loaded the truck camper in since the suspension add on so I'm curious to see how it behaves loaded.

Here's the current truck. It's a 2002 GMC 2500HD with the 8.1L and Allison. It's got all the right factory parts, so it's fairly stock with only minor tweeks for reliability, ride comfort and communications/audio.

Here's the next truck. It's a '76 K25 (GMC 4x4 3/4 ton) with some issues. But I've been collecting the parts to swap it to a 8.1L engine mated to a NV4500/NP205 with hydroboost brakes.

That is 0ne good looking squarebody you got there. . I am thinking I might need to start looking for an engine and tranny to do the 8.1/nv4500 to my truck. Look forward to watching your progress if you do a build thread for it.

Picked up a new-to-me truck last week. 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4, 5.3 V8, Z71 with LT2 package, HD trailering group, 3.73 rear with locking differential. 106K and extremely well maintained. Found the shell the same night for $600 about 200 miles away, so I drove down the next day and picked it up. I netted 19.7 MPG on the ~400 mile, 90% highway trip, so I'm very happy!

New to the site, but here is what I am starting out with. Was going to build my 97 f150 4x4, but decided to do it right and get a crew cab and bigger truck. Been planning on building a truck like a lot of stuff I have seen on here the little bit I have been here, but never knew about this site until the other day when I was told about it. Only had the truck a month. Been doing the general maintenance and going through the truck. Picked up some new wheels and tires for it . Will slowly be building this as I am not in the area to work on it. Will buy parts that way when I get back in May I can get busy on building it.
