Just got my dream Suburban. It is a 2001 2500 with 8.1 police package... So I was told. Anyhow I love, love, love it. I wish my boyfriend was as hung-ho to spend all our hard earned cash on making it into the beast I see in my mind. View attachment 284634

Nice find. I've been keeping my eyes open for a 2500 burb too.

And it sounds like you need a new boyfriend.... but then I guess the same could be applied to all of us whose wives don't agree either LOL!

My truck has morphed a few times since I bought it. But it rolled off the line as a 2006 F350 Lariat crewcab shortbox single wheel trucks. Its a dually now, but I want to swap it back to single wheel.

looked like this for the last while. with the stockish 19.5s on it. Had big rims on it for a spell. but very much want to go back to SRW.

looked like this when I bought it in 2010.

153624----what wheels were you running in the picture with the single rear wheels and F450 axles? It looks like you have factory center caps on there, but can't quite tell what the wheel itself is. Love the stance. Thanks!

It was a fun ride. Not so good in the muskeg though. Too heavy.

But those particular rims are 20x11 steel rims from First Attack engineering in the U.S. They build them for their fast attack off-road fire trucks. And you are right those are factory F450 Center caps. I had to trim the fronts down to fit. But the rears just snapped right on.

Thanks! I did find them after a little online searching, wasn't easy. They are a bit pricey too, $400-$550each...ouch. Most Super Single wheels are in that ball park too. But definitely nice looking.

Nice

Nice to see some trucks being used out in the back country.

A bedroom with a view, who could ask for more?
