After the smoke clears from the initial purchase, I'm thinking of keeping it simple other than a winch and maybe some off road oriented tires, I'll probably leave it pretty much stock, I use it for work as well. They are pretty well outfitted for any expedition I would take it on, plenty of room in the back for passengers, good stock clearance and will pull anything I could get my hands on. I'm still on the fence about adding a cap on it, I like them for their versatility but I also need to use the bed quite often. I may also add a cab over rack to carry lumber at work, and the kayaks on the weekend, it's just so tall I'm not sure how practical it would be. I'm coming from a 2013 Ram with the 6 cylinder and 8 speed, I still haven't gotten used to the height on this one and the not smooth like the ZF 8speed transmission.

Level it and throw some more aggressive ATs on it call it good. Nice Ram

That is a 2" level and 285/75-18 Toyo AT IIs (35x11.50) on factory 18" wheels. No rub, no muss, no fuss. Took less time to install the level than it did for the tire shop to mount and balance the tires. The truck looks better in person, as I think it is so long that it is hard to get in a pic without angling, and making it look low.

Sold off all my cars and bought just one vehicle, for now. Only mods in its future are going to be cosmetic mods and camping/travelling specific ones. Motor has enough guts as it is and the suspension is already overbuilt for anything it will ever see

DSCN0240.JPG Have not really done a whole lot to it. I turned up the torsion bars to get rid of the sag from the springs wearing out. Got rid of the air resonator box and got a K&N air filter. The only OEM stuff I have replaced is the radiator, the number 1 coil pack. Some of the things I would like to do in the near future is switch all fluids to Royal Purple. Get my CB radio installed and add a roof basket. Down the road I would like to upgrade my exhaust, shocks and get my engine ECM programmed. I have 33's on it now maybe move up to 35's.20140906_203048.jpg These are the lights I put on the other weekend. That's the most current thing I have done.

I've been following this site for a while, first post though. This is my 1998 K1500. Pretty much stock right now, with the exception of the 32" tires and 17" wheels. Have big plans for it, though!
