Unfortunately I need to sell my rig. Last May I broke my leg in Moab. After surgery, 9 screws, steel plate, and a pin through the ankle, I was off work for almost 4 months. I built this rig as a daily driver and for backcountry adventure travel, easy 4 wheeling with the main goal for camping and enjoying the great outdoors. I have another Jeep I use for hardcore wheelin. I had hoped I would be able keep this rig, but with all the time off it is no longer feasible. I am also having issues with the steel plate in my leg and using the clutch. Included is a rear deck that I built that holds an ARB Cooler, 2 Rubber Maid containers, and a Hi-Lift jack (not-included). I will also include a belly-up skid plate to get rid of the factory shovel. All it needs to be finished is SYE kit installed and a new driveshaft (this skid moves the transfer case up almost 3”). Vehicle is very clean, a few minor scratches and a few light scratches on the windows. More pictures can be seen here http://s291.photobucket.com/albums/l...p%20Unlimited/ Any questions please contact me.

    Thanks,

Update: Belly-up skid now installed with TC lowering kit.

Sorry to see you have to sell your Jeep.

I had similar surgery on my left ankle about 3 years ago (hence my forum name). It took me about 18 months after the surgery to be able to comfortably drive a clutch again and to walk without a limp. I still can't play rugby, I can't run for even a half in boots.

Do the rehab, that helps a lot.

    Thanks 6 Pin,

Yeah, lots of rehab ahead. In a round about way the doc said the plate would most likely have to come out next year, probably about the time I can at least walk normal I will have to go through it all again. It has been a lousy year, I lose insurance at the end of the month, property taxes doubled again, and this economy is making for some shaky ground.

Only good news about all this is I found this forum while being layed up. Having that much time to lay around gives you plenty of time to think. We have decided to move out west next April, Grand Junction or Reno, so we can be closer to the outdoors we love. Going to rehab the other Jeep to sit lower, auto trans, more storage, and be a daily driver(its paid for). Now all we to do is figure out how to get rid of the H3's lease.

That's a really good price. In my searching for an Unlimited, I found that most of them on dealer lots had higher mileage, no mods and were priced quite a bit higher.

    Good luck with the sale!
    I've had enough...

Back to the top for one last try, a fire sale so to speak, please notice the new price. This economy sure is rough, I'm not even sure if I will have a job at the end of next month.

That price is freakin awesome! If you could guarantee I wouldn't be served divorce papers for buying it I would be on my way to pick it up tomorrow! Someone needs this Jeep folks!

Gadzooks, I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune

You made some very conservative mods to that great jeep, too

I wish you luck, put it on ebay, with a reserve price and really dressup the details, people will see it, all over the world

    Good luck
