    Default 96 F250 + 82 Grandby =

The closest thing to my dream setup... Only thing I'd do differently is a diesel in the truck. These are a couple of months old - should have more to come at the end of the month...

Stats: 1982 - reskinned inside and out within the last 5 years. LPG furnace and stove. Icebox was ditched for cabinet space, but there's an Engel MT45 under the front "storage" lid.

Forgive the Buick - not my idea, but free is free - and the chicks sure give me the looks when I go "rollin"...

That was the first thing I noticed in that photo too. Funny how those trucks catch your eye.

Scootr, that's a nice looking setup. Keep us posted on your trips with it.

    Default Well,

I finally got the charging system the way I want it (solar + truck system as a backup), and I'll be going to Dumont next weekend with friends to break her in.

1st major mod will be to build a tube steel bumper and a platform on the back to be used as a carrier for my 950 (because I hate towing) - we'll see how much she sags afterwards.

The FJ in the back is one of my neighbors it's pretty decent from 10'. HAven't actually met him/her yet. I noticed it the day it showed up. Also noted that the underside of the fender is coated with something "not quite white"...

    Default sweeeet!

    Sweet looking rig!
My wife and I had a FWC on a 97 350 XLT. Ours was green, but I think white looks even better. Ours was also gas. It had 4:10s and really sucked down the gas. I really loved that truck.

Did you add the the rear window? That is a mod I would like to make. The opening is framed out on ours.

    Good Luck and Happy Travels,
    John

    Default She came with...

That window. Not sure if the PO added it when he reskinned it, but I'd wager it was OE - judging by the aluminum oxidation, it looks like the others.
