Interesting design. Like Ron said, though, it does give up a lot of space - you could camp in it for a little while but you couldn't really carry much unless you were pulling a trailer or unless you lashed a bunch of stuff to the top (which of course would have to come off when you raised the roof.) Probably not a bad little "weekend" rig but it doesn't seem that much more comfy than a pickup with a shell on it.
