I got a camper shell for my Nissan truck and camp out of it and I use a truck truck tent (http://www.lakelandgear.com/mid-size-camper-top-truck-cap-camping-tent-da3.aspx) because I am taller than the length of the bed.
But I would like to build a removable bed extender to put in place while I sleep, so I can still stretch out and still lower the back glass door and have complete coverage, therefore loose the truck tent.
I like the truck tent, but in cold windy weather I would rather not hear it getting blown around and have something more stable.
So I am simply looking for ideas and/or pics from others that might have fab'd a custom enclosed bed extender, that is removable.
