That's odd....didn't do that with my computer. It's a car blog that reviews vehicle related businesses.

What type of fasteners did you use for this box?

Here's a few pictures of my camp box that I recently built, made from 1/2" baltic birch with a little cherry trim added. Fits into the back of my trailer.

Holds the normal array of camping supplies, griddle has it's own slot under the stove.

Everything packed up and ready to go.......leaving tomorrow for a shakedown!

Light Weight Chuck Box

First and successful test of our new light weight chuckbox! Went rockclimbing to Croatia last week and took along the chuckbox I built during winter. The design was inspired by many of the great posts on this forum. Size is 75 x 44 x 44 centimeters (29,5 x 17,3 x 17,3 inches). I used 10 millimeter and 4 mm plywood (4/10" & 2/12") and ended up with a weight of 12 kg (below 29 lbs) including the supporting structure. For transport the box fits in the inverted supporting structure (built from 44 x 22 millimeters squared timber). Fully loaded it can be carried by one person! Imagine my suprise when we loaded our Jeep Liberty CRD for the trip and saw that it perfectly fits in the trunk together with the cooler!

By the way the beer you can see on the left top is called "Kühles Blondes" which translates to "Cool Blond" - great stuff!

Greetings from Austria!
