    Default dual battery tray

    Well after last weekend's stuck. I thought it was time to get duall batts. I looked on line at battery trays but 100 bux just dident work for me. So 14 bux later here is what i have.

    what are you installing it in ? and does it fit ?

    Same thought here. Only thing I've seen for the XJ is a double stack unit.

    thank you and all in all the box is only 3" longer and 1.5" wider than stock but the frameless wonders are packed

    'Mean Green' (no idea if they are still around) did a kit that put one where the stock airbox was, and replaced it with a cone filter.

    Back when my 89 MJ was mostly stock, I did a homebrew of the same thing. It was tight, but it worked.

    i just tosed my batts in the bed of my MJ back in the day.

    I was jsut looking at an Xj there isent much room. I think u could do it bit it wouldent be a nice fit

    ya, on the cherokee's they want you to remove the stock air box and use and after market air cleaner set up. which isn't a bad thing, but for Kali it has to be a 50 state legal air set up.

    I'll have to look at some and see what might be done.

    Always nice to have a back up battery or one to run the accessories off of.

    If you aren't afraid to do some minor cutting and relocating of the computer you can do something like the diesel battery tray mod as shown on madxj.com.

    I'll probably do this at some point. Bigger fish to fry currently.
