It's a frustrating process. I remember looking and looking for a good deal everywhere on a Jeep for several weeks and then when I would find one, I'd immediately start wondering what was wrong with the deal. I ended up buying my Jeep from a private party/ older guy who towed it behind his motorhome a few times a year. He didn't ask for top dollar but I certainly didn't steal it either. I guess the moral to all this is look for a "fair" deal for all and you're less likely to get shafted.
Has anyone ever started a thread here on used vehicle buying tips? Might come in handy.
