Exclamation El Camino Del Diablo - Fire Policy Change

You can now have a campfire with actual wood at ECDD!

From Margot as of this AM.

This wood MUST be from building wood (pallets, boards, etc.) not raw tree wood. No wood or trees on refuge will be allowed to be used for fire. Have a great trip, call if you have any further questions."

This adds a new level of adventure to the trip! Swing by the grocery store, drive around back, everybody jumps out, snags a pallet, tosses it on top, and the driver fires off within 10 seconds.

    Pallet wood. I love it.

Yep, i know... i mentioned to her that they'll have nails everywhere now and more trash like stuff on the ground with people bringing in tables, desks, etc etc. Not to mention pallets last 10 minutes, and other such wood with laminate sucks to inhale.

Maybe they should open a IKEA in Ajo? lol

And, most "building wood" has been chemically treated in some way so it should provide a great contact high!
