    Default Way In The Wilderness

Last Sunday was brutally cold so we hiked from NH's Kancamagus Highway into a sunny South-facing climb called Way In The Wilderness:

The photo made it onto this weeks NEice cover which shows climbing with good photographers has its benefits!

I'm a complete wuss when it comes to taking the sharp end of the rope so that's me belaying. Definitely a classic climb

    Cheers,

    Very nice Graham,

Whats the climbing like there in the Summer? Rock looks solid.

Awe inspiring. I've been wanting to try ice climbing for a while now. One of these days I'll try it out.

They don't call it the Granite State for nothing. There is lots of solid rock here, both short crags and some much larger stuff.

    Cheers,
    Graham

p.s. I suppose I should give some credit to Rob (in the picture) and Eric (behind the lens) for swinging leads.
