    Default Happily spreading the rumor

Posted by Stan@FourWheel on the Wonder the West web site.

"The only tid bit of inside information I have heard behind the scenes is that we might be working on a new "expedition version" of the FWC Campers later this year. But it will be awhile before we are ready to roll it out."

Any guesses as to what this might consist of.

ok, ok, let me ask it this way...Is there anything in particular in the new design that could be retrofit into someones existing camper? (cough, take the bait, take the bait, cough)

I already have a lot of "expedition mods" on the drawing boards. Just waiting for it to warm up to do the work.

Depends how far back to square one that you want to go...

I'm busting your chops some too. It's just chat at this point anyway, is my understanding. I'm anxious too to see what they come up with. Particularly since nothing about their current configuration has been limiting, at least on my trips, in any way, shape or form.

I wouldn't get too pumped up yet. Could be just like those concept vehicles at car shows that get made but never manufactured or distributed.

    Don't laugh....

I'd normally say as soon as mine fails to deliver as advertised in any way, shape or form. But....

    We need to talk Stan.

KC, if you end up pulling the trigger on a newer FWC, let me know, I might be interested in taking your old one off your hands.

Default No such thing as planned obsolescence at FWC.

    .
Four Wheel Campers are just built too well. The only reason to buy a new one is if you buy a new truck and the old one doesn't fit. Even then you might be able to massage it into the new truck.

However, an expedition version has an interesting title. Especially if retrofits could be incorporated into older models. I'm not good at subliminal messages. Just take the bait!
