Which trails have they blocked off? Seems ever since the Broadmoor hotel started buying up land and building crap all over that things are changing.

Yes! The Broadmoor recently aqcuired and built "Cloud Camp", which I'll admit, looks pretty amazing, however it is creating a lot of new traffic on Old Stage Road. We saw lots of luxury SUVs being driven up by men in suits and figured they were shuttling people up and down from the camp.

They placed a string of boulders to keep people from trying to messing around at the 4x4 playground near the SugarLoaf Mountain lookout. I will take pictures next time I head up there.

Nice pics eurosonic. Dang those 35s look huge on your truck. Great rig... love seeing your updates and how the build keeps improving.

Not strictly a Pajero, as I live in the States, but here are a few shots. It's still fairly new to me and still needs attention in a few spots so I haven't been able to really get into anything too challenging yet.

The dog in the last shot is my dad's.

Update: Found a few pictures of our first off road adventure in the Montero. Not real challenging, but a good shakedown to figure out what really needs attention.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Out of curiosity, did you have to chain up for snow wheeling?

Clem

Not for this trip. This was a fresh 12 inches of Sierra Snow.
Very fun, low risk snow wheeling. Just blasting fresh tracks down fireroads...

Just came back from a small road trip to the Joshua Tree National Park area. Snapped a few pics at the peak of the Ryan Mountain hiking trail and of the Thunderbird Lodge retreats where we stayed. The mile-long dirt road to get to the retreat was teeth-chattering to say the least.

Nice drive through Joshua Tree National Park
