Went to a "beginner" run last weekend with http://www.meetup.com/City-Slicker-Off-Roading/. It was a very varied group of vehicles: 17 jeeps and my Montero :Wow1:
The trail was near Frazier Park, CA. Scraped the underside a few times, and bent up one of the rear bumper caps. I attribute it to newbie driver error :sombrero:

The hardest thing about giving up my Jeep is that all of its wheels would still be on the ground in that situation, it's going to take some getting used to in the Montero.

I have never liked articulation. That's what lockers are for. It's much more fun going up on 2 wheels than staying on 4!

Montero Ranch is thinning down, only 5 Mitusbishis remaining...3 Monteros, 1 Raider and 1 Mighty Max:

That is my side yard, and we are down 3 Monteros in the last 6 weeks, and 1 camper trailer. Shifting needs for space and interest in the parts...
