A Gazetteer style tome for Canadian Provinces?

Does anyone publish a Gazetteer style map for Canadian Provinces? If so where can they be purchased? My searches so far have been futile.

It's looking like the Clan will be visiting our neighbors to the north early this summer and though we have 2 GPS systems, we like to run with a hardcopy map. As our well thumped and tattered Gazeteers have served us well for all the states we've wandered through, I've been looking for something similiar for the Canadian Maritine Provinces as well as southern Quebec and Ontario. My hunting guide buddy in Newfoundland is sending down some pulp company maps of his region but we would really like a more comprehensive map resource for the whole of the area we will be rolling through.

Any help (even an acknowledgement that there ain't no such cryptic tomes) would be appreciated.

Thanks' all; Mark.

I'm not sure that is what you're looking for cause I don't know what "gazetteer" means but you can try this site.

Eric, a Gazetteer is a topo map atlas of each of the individual 50 states showing detailed terrain, roads, trails and features of the state. It's published by Delorme and is pretty accurate. From the looks of your link much like the Backroad maps. Thanks for the link, definitely worth checking out.

Backroads mapbooks are the best for travel, but the government of Canada has a Gazetteer map service:

I heart Delorme map books. I have all kinds of GPS software, but it's not like sitting with a cup of coffee and looking at a paper topo. I even like when a road turns out to be someone's driveway. Nothing ventured......
