    Default Another new Jeep(s) here

    Hey guys,

I found this board a little while ago and kinda like the way it works. I'm a recent migrant to the west coast from the east coast. Looking forward to doing some exploring around here.

The current fleet is a 1997 TJ that I've had since new:

I pickedup the trailer a while back as well, its a 1992 M101 from the Canadian Army.

    Specs on the TJ :
    Engine: Mostly stock
    Tranny: AW-4 out of a 1999 XJ
T-case : NP231 with JB Super Shorty kit
Front axle: 2004 Rubicon with air locker.
Rear axle: Ford 8.8 with a superior Super 88 kit in it, still needs to be locked.
Suspension: Older Tera Long arm mounts. New links using RE hardware and Joints.
Shocks : QA1 rebuildable 2" shocks from Offroad only, also running the Poly Perf rear shock mounts.
Springs : We don't need no springs.. Its running one of the first Offroad Only AirRock kits.I got this back when you had the manual buttons, now its got the Gen II computer control setup.
Onboard Air: York 210 with a tank mounted up and under the body.

Also running a Swayloc and lite dots.

There's also another 'Jeep' that's still back in MD. We build it to haul parts to shows back when having an offroad shop sounded like a good idea (like before the slump and $4.00 a gallon gas)

    1967 Jeep M725 Ambo.
    Engine : 2005 Hemi
    Trans : 545 RFE
    T-case : needs an Atlas
    Rear : 14 bolt
    Front : D44 (8 log) searching for a cheap 60

    Other odd/fun things:
    Electric windows.
Heated Leather seats out of a ZJ.

Thinking of converting this vehicle for expeditions as well. Its old enough that Cali won't be annoyed by it and the drivetrain is nice and new. Gets better gas mileage than the TJ.

I need to get my pics back online of it, but for now here's the youtube of the first time it moved...

Working on getting it to cali as soon as I can so I can finish up the build and make it a bit more useful offroad. Its original build was a shop truck to haul parts to shows...
