Wasn't real sure where to put this so I thought I'd start here. Mods, if there is somewhere else better for this please move it, thank you.
Is there anyone here that is good at torch welding steel and/or aluminum?? And, is relatively local enough to the Antelope Valley where you could come to my house, for maybe a few beers and some gas money, OR I could come to your house. I need someone who can critique my welds with the torch. I never really used the torch much except for fixing the occasional muffler or exhaust pipe and I've got a few projects I want to do using aluminum and sheet metal. MIG and TIG are out since I don't have anywhere to weld that would be out of the wind. Plus I have a hard time justifying the cost of a TIG machine, since A) I'm broke and B) I already have a torch.
