    Default Java's 4th gen Runner

    Picked up a new 4Runner to replace my 85 PU i sold. its a 03 V6 4x Sport




    before taking the running borads off


    After. Much better


    Installed my CB


    And a Red top



    since ARB is local to me i went a pickedup a OME lift that will gte installed this weekend

    very interested. I have a 1st gen. hilux that tries to brake my back and a rover getting up on miles and was thinking of doing the same thing. Always loved toyota. do 4th gn.runners have a locking rear dif.?

    good luck and I can't wait to see the rest of the pics.

    The Trail Edition (V6 only I believe) is the only 4th Gen that comes with a locking rear diff. that I am aware of. http://www.toyota.com/4runner/trail-edition.html

    yes trail edition has the rear e-locker. but they can also be bought used and put inot any toyota 8" axle.

    OME went on this weekend! took about 5 hours total, wasnt hard at all, done im my driveway with basic hand tools. all the XREAS stuff was removed.

    the arb parts. and my helper..




    Rear suspension




    End of Day 1



    Finished!!!




    also got my CB antenna mounted.

    wheels and tires will stay as is till the tires are done, then just a little bigger tires.

    thanks! too it out wheeling a little yesterday, did awesome. also picked up a new pellet stove and the rear didnt even flinch with a few hundred pounds in the back
