    Default Ultra-Large Format

I just opened some boxes that were returned to the school today. Inside were an 11x14 Lotus, a 4x10 Canham, a 360mm Symmar S, some 11x14 and 4x10 holders, some HP5 11x14 film and a slew of lens boards.

If you're still with me and speakin' my language, your head is probably spinning as much as mine is.

I was out shooting the 8x20 this weekend, but that 11x14 seems so much bigger. The 4x10 is amazingly small.

So, here's a quick inventory of just the large format cameras my students have to experiment with:

4x5 (various Speed and Crown Graphics, Wista and Tachiharas...)
    4x10 (Canham)
    8x10 (Tachihara and Toyo Field)
    8x20 (Lotus)
    11x14 (Lotus)

The *problem* is, that I'm going to want to play with them too. I'm loving this little 4x10, and with my 8x10 enlarger I should be able to make some amazing prints. Hopefully the subject matter will be compelling.
