Default 1971 Series IIA 109 Ex-MoD Soft Top

I’ve posted this here before but with a new lower price, let’s see if I can get this thing sold…

I’ve owned the Series for over ten years. It was originally imported by Rovers North in the late 90’s. The Rover started out life as a Ministry of Defense ambulance. It has less than 25,700 miles that I believe to be original. Highlights of the Rover include an unleaded head conversion, AC Delco alternator conversion, parabolic leaf springs, and manual locking rear differential with upgraded axle half shafts. The Series runs strong, shifts smoothly and is ready to be driven by its new owner. I have found a home for the hard top that I have for the Rover. It is sold as pictured with the regular full length soft top. Contact me for additional pictures or with questions. Truck is located in Springfield, Missouri. Priced to sell quickly at $6,400 or very near offer.

    Thanks,
    dd

Good for you. I went to college just south of Rovers North and would head up there frequently right at about the time you bought it, when I owned my Series III 88. There are good odds I drooled over your exact truck! They are so wonderful, something I would consider in a heartbeat perhaps if you were closer! It looks very nice with the white paint...

Here's what the Rover looked like when I got it home in April of 1999.

The very reasonable reserve has been met so the race is on to the end. Check it out if you have any interest in owning a great old Series Land Rover.

cool Rover. Man, how tempting. I'll be in Kansas City later this month to visit and heading down to Arkansas. Now you got me dreaming of canceling the return plane ticket and driving it back to Arizona. What a fun road trip that be.

want an 85 CJ7 and cash for it?

    good luck with the sale.
