Engle Wireless Refrigerator Thermometer Tips

Where is the best place to mount the refrigerator sender unit in the refrigerator? Assume the best way to mount is with double sided tape? Any other recommendations?

I would say close to the top since that's where the temp is going to be highest. I have a wired thermometer and always make sure the probe is near the top as I've seen significant variations from top to bottom in my MT45.

I was thinking the same thing.

How do you guys like your Engle Wireless Thermo? I just picked up the new version and i kind of liked my old Two Zone better.

Can you even turn the new Engle off? Looks like i need to yank the batteries.

I did not know they had one.
Can you provide a link?

I just have the standard ARB one next to the dial, and I use a conversion chart for the temps.

I agree. I have both ad think the wired two zone is better.

A little off topic but I will ask anyway. My only complaint about the TwoZone wireless is having to use Military time when in Fahrenheit. Celsius is the default for standard 12 hour time. My question is the Engle wireless the same or does it give standard 12 hour time with Fahrenheit.

Thanks

I got the Engel wireless from Will and it works great!
Thanks, I will order one.
Not sure if it will show up by Thursday though, as I plan on camping next Friday morning.
Two three day weekends in a row :D

PS, just placed my order with Wil.

I originally bought my Two Zone from Wil also. The new Engle came from him as well. He just had a shipment of the Engles come in so Corey you should be good to go.

Gear, the one nice thing about the Engle is that yes, you can have both Standard time and Faranheit or vice versa. Unlike the TwoZone where if you wanted Faranheit you had to have military time only.

Thanks Dave.
Two Zone listed Wil as a reseller of their unit, but I did not find it on Wil's site, so I went with the Engel one.

Got the UPS tracking number already emailed, so it is in the works.
Not sure if it will make it from AZ to WA by Thursday though, as I am leaving Friday morning to the hills for some much needed R&R.

As far as the Engel one net having a reading on the transmitter, I will probably just attach the receiver to the fridge, maybe here too if room, not sure yet.

It came today!
Tomorrow I will get it installed.

Takes awhile to sync up, and from my easy chair to the house fridge (20') it would not work.
Fridge temp said 75, same as receiver.
When I took it out of the fridge and set it closer to the receiver, it said 40 degrees.

Should not be a problem in my rig though if I mount this on the dash.

Hey guys sorry to dig up an old thread but i have 2 fridges an Engel MT45 and a ARB 50L i would love a wireless thermometer does anyone know of any that can do 2 fridge readings?
