Default Sprinter retro camper on SBar craigslist

    I don't know what it's for, but I know I need one ...

Sadly, I already have a Sprinter to work on, and if I didn't I would go get Mike Hiscox Campermog. But this looks pretty neat. (Not mine, no affiliation, and have not seen in real life.)

The mid 50s to mid 60s Shasta travel trailers are classic designs.
Here are two examples of the original

That Sprinter travel trailer mating actually looks halfway decent. Someone did a nice job on that.

My mind just can't process that very well. The rear end says retro 50's but the front end says modern delivery vehicle. Tilt, tilt, tilt ...

The guy who did that mating posts over at the yahoo sprintervan forum. He's done two matings. The first was a 3500 dually sprinter with an airstream trailer (he nicknamed it bambi). He said that one took two years. This one (nicknamed canned ham) was done in about 4 months on a 2500 chassis. He should consider doing mating of a more modern camper to the sprinter. An Alaskan camper? Might turn into a good business.

I'm not a fan of the looks- it should be the "after" photo of a horrible rear-end accident.

    EXACTLY!

I give credit to the builder for being creative though.

I'm thinking aluminum Airstream/Sprinter mating would be pretty cool.

EDIT: Anyone good at photoshop?
