Czech rivers aren't so wild and deep and off course you must know your canoe and your skills. I personally canoe since my 11 so for almost 20 years and there was only one year I wasn't on the river...

some of us even wear them running shuttle.

I think we had 21 or 22 people and 8? boats. You should have seen the face on the State Trooper when he passed us.

PFD police... you harp on someone for running a canoe without a lifejacket but you happily load up a pickup rez style and drive down the road... lame

I think the State Patrol would have stopped us if they thought it was unsafe.

I took these today...no real 'action' shots, though we had a fighter jet do a low pass over the lake..I'll upload a video when I get chance.
