Default Any advise on a used Fourwheel Camper?

I have been looking at an older FourWheel Camper recently and was curious if there have been any build quality issues throughout the years that I should be concerned with. It is a Grandby model and my main interest is if the older models were constructed with the aluminum frames as they are today. Some of the noticeable differences that I can see so far compared to recent models:

    1. Not as many windows in the upper canvas portion.
    2. The hard-side windows are the cantilever style.

If anyone has an older model or knows of construction issues that were changed in the newer models I would greatly appreciate your input.

I'm trying to decide if this camper will continue to hold up to some more rugged driving and wet climates.

I'm trying to add pictures;if this doesn't work, I'll try something else.

    Thanks all!

I think this will work. I was trying to load them so it was possible to view without clicking on a attachment but I guess this will have to do.

    Thanks again for any input!

When you get into the older models make sure it will fit your bed. Go to the 4wheel site and take a look at the fitment guide.

Funny you mention that. After I posted this, I remembered this info on the FWC site. I have a '94 Dodge 3/4t long-bed and this is the truck bed that has problems with fitting the older models (pre-1990). Apparently my truck-bed gets a little narrow towards the tail-gate.

If I really like the camper I'll look into having All-Terrain Campers do an up-fit.
That is, if the build quality was the same then as it is now.
