    Default Arizona Highways Magazine

Near the end of 2008 Arizona Highways Magazine had their first ever online photo contest and was the first time they accepted digital files for a photo contest.

More than 2400 entries were received. The winners have not yet been announced but the top ten for each of the four categories is found here:

I was lucky enough to be selected into the Top Ten of the People category

Congrats, I entered as well but did not place.
I did not have an image in the people category but I did for the other two.
There were a lot of entries, so that makes it all the more cool making it into the top 10.
I am glad the popular vote had no play in the selection as it looked like the most votes were just going to the people who had entered earliest.
Next contest I hope they fix that terrible gallery they used to display the entries.
All the images looked like they had been scaled down 100x then blown up 10x full of artifacts.
Good luck, I myself was hoping for second prize more then first prize.

Thank you very much. I don't care if I win or not. Being published in this magazine will be a dream come true. That is what I am hoping for.
