Edgestar owners....Mounting ideas ??

Anyone come up with a good way to mount their ES that doesnt use the handles as a tie down ?

Hate to add the wear and tear to the handles.

A strap across the top would work but everytime you wanted to open it..............Then the chance of clinching the strap to tight and crushing the corners of the lid.

What do you think Expo`s ?

Whats wrong with just using the handles? As long as you dont ratchet strap the heck out of it, you should be fine.

These are just something I fabbed up in my garage. I don't have any fab tools except for a jig saw and drill. Made these out of 16Ga steel 3"x about 9"
I have not tried them out yet but they don't bend when put under moderate tension. The one pic shows it strapped to the bottom of my tool box snuggly. I probably would make the holes bigger for the strap but 1/2" is the biggest drill bit I have.

I'd round them, too, but I've got a crapload of tools that I've gathered over the years doing construction and fabwork.

He's doin' pretty good!!
