My Disco Builds

So there are a few things I want to show yall that I have for my discos in the works right now.

First off is my 1997 5spd Discovery that many of yall have seen and I have owned it since the fall of 2005.

That is how I got it when I bought it. Well added some All-Terrains the week I bought it.

How it looked right before the rear diff took a dump taking out my hubs etc... in the process. But that is where all the fun starts I picked up a white 99 discovery when my volvo got totalled out in Ardmore for a very nice price of 3k. Had the usual of a CEL (that I am still fighting with) but overall very clean and the plus is no sunroofs.

The running boards had to go pretty soon afterwards

Along with the brushguard and lower bumper.

Next up was the roof rails to accomadate my Low Profile Safety Devices Rack

And a full set of brackets after 4 of them got stolen last fall

Fuel Pump was replaced with a GM unit

Then I picked up another set of offroad tires

Then back to work on my 97. I got a hold of some Defender 110 extra HD springs for the front and swamped them out from the Old Man Emus in the 97

And the 97 stayed lifted 2in....

I have another set of 110 extra HD springs that I may be throwing under the 99 instead of putting the Old Man Emus on. While this has happened my younger sister decided she wants to pay to fix up my 97 so I am giving it to her when she turns 16 in a few months.

Plenty of Dents
$G front diff guard

Well here are my sliders which I am pretty fond even though they are a little rusty

The 97 got the old factory bumper

While the 99 got the old ARB

1in. spacer installed in the rear

Along with new rear brake hardware

My spring options for the front ( 1st mystery 2in. spring 2nd OME spring 3rd 110 HD spring with red blue stripe)
