    Default Short bus camper...any resources?

My Dad and I have decided to build a short bus diesel for a camp/long range travel vehicle, but before we get too far into the planning stages, I'd like to find some resources.

Where would I go about finding a used, but godo condition short bus? I'd prefer a diesel, and 4x4, but that can be worked around if need be.

Your info sources are appreciated, as well as your personal experiences.

    Thanks,
    G

Colorado mountain school districts often have 4x4 buses so surplus sales of these buses or Craigslist in snowy mountain regions may be a good place to start.

    e.g.:

    Gav,
Consider also a Class C motorhome and do a 4x4 conversion. Now's a very good time to buy one, and all the camper bits have already been sorted.

    Kevin,

    Good idea too!

Vehicle needs and ideas are continually evolving over the next few weeks, so we may go with a bus, a Class C, or a diesel van....we'll see.

It doesnt need to 4x4, so that opens up a lot of options.

Its been on for over a year now. Was at 2800, but now 3000? not sure why would definitely make a great vehicle.
