The original idea is out the window. I'm now going with a different platform...something along the the militaries' M116A2 line, but it's going to be a custom build nonetheless.
I shared this with The Grand PohBaah, Martyn, and recieved a blessing so this will be what the new one looks like. I'll be sure to thread it out once it's under way.
