Wow...that is a lot of money in tents.

.

Ya it is. I'm thinking that maybe I should put some insurance on the package.
I was able to buy the Maggi used, but had to buy the Columbus XL new.:Wow1: I figure the money I save traveling across the country will pay off the tents.

There are some amazing camper trailers posted here, I've notice the most popular are the military styled ones, but the most impressive of them all is the Fleetwood Cobalt.

There are a lot of this type here in Australia, the closest to it is the Getabout

But I think this is just so much better, mate that is a great looking camper:clapsmile

OK so now to mine, not as impressive as the above camper but it is good for what we do and need.

I like that set up Baz!

Usually it's just me, or me and my 8 YO son, so the RTT on the M416 works great.

We just got some of those Yellow 'off road' campers here last year (at the camper dealership). Nice, but they have a 'nice' price tag too!:Wow1:

Like those tents! Who makes them?

Not tents as such, camper trailer and the one on the left in the last photo is a Redback and the one on the right is an Allterrain, both made here in Australia.

This may clear things up

Stairs up onto the trailer and bed.

Oh yeah they are not cheap here either:Wow1:

The M416 is similar to the Aussie No5 Military trailer (Land Rover based) and a few of the fellas here convert them also, it's a great idea and if I was just going away by myself I would go that way, but for me I need room and lots of it, the missus takes a lot of crap:eek:

This is a mates camper he built, using the Defender 130 HCPU ute back

Well, Sat was National Trails day, so I headed up to the local OHV park for the weekend.

Stayed at the Eveleth Veterans Park campground, not really 'out there', but a nice place to base camp!

We made 3 new trails in the OHV park, and on Sunday, I got to work on the only OHV trail in the state!

This was the second trip out for the trailer this year, first was a week in Moab in April.

Yes, that's a keg of beer on the back...a keg of Pearl Street Brewery Pale Ale as a matter of fact

Sleeping quarters are comfy, and I have access to my storage from inside too!

The canopy worked great as an additional space and shade. I borrowed it, but I'm definitely going to be buying one. It fit inside the storage area perfectly...as did everything I had to take camping. I'll have to do something about the coolers tho, they don't fit inside. Maybe a rack off the back.

I even had my doors and soft top windows tucked inside under the black cover, that was nice!

Anyway, great times,

B

The trailer has only been on two trips so far, but many more to come...

Impressive, but for me...That is begging to be a disaster crossing that.:Wow1: My luck I would be walking home.
I am watching what water has been doing to Lander, Wyoming (a community south of my hometown) and it takes nutz to do that, especially on a camping trip.:sombrero: Carry on!
