I somehow keep deleting my post when I try to edit it, lol. Anyway, here's my trailer.
Nice man! Beefy setup. Confused, is it just a cargo carrier? Looks like you might have a raisable top/rack, but no tent up top yet? Do share more!
The rack is telescoping. It will raise 30" above the trailer. It uses a 30" scissor jack in the center. Works great for a one man lift with a cordless drill.
This is with the rack raised. This is a pre painted photo. It is an expedition trailer intended for a roof top tent. Just haven't purchased the tent yet.

Very nice setup Yeti. What tent are you planning on?
Not set on an exact brand, but I'm looking at one of the larger ones in the 72" width.

No real info, but I could take close up pictures next week. Trailer is at the cabin and I am now at work til next monday.
And sorry, I just came back from vacation, was not really on any forum during the time.
