Not my favorite picture but a picture of both the trailers at home at the same time. Space and Association rules prohibit trailers living in my driveway so they stay at other places. DSCN1521.jpgDSCN1523.jpg

Thanks Jimbo. I have read about every post you have about your Tentrax before I bought this one. I love it. I pulled it over some pretty rocky stuff and it did great. I don't care for the Pintle hitch. Way too noisy and man does it bang like crazy on the ruff stuff. May look into getting something else for the offroad stuff. I want to add a 12 volt system to it with a solar panel. Does your panel fold up or is it solid? I do wish it was silver though.

Benny.

Excelsior!
I keep going back to this photo because it was at the transition between planning and action for a trip earlier this year to Arizona and Utah. At this point all of the decisions would be put to the test. Should I bring the trailer out on this trail so far from home? Do you air down trailer tires? (YES!) Will the 4Runner's new Duratrac tires prove themselves in deep sand? Will the rear locker work flawlessly?

The whole trip went really well and a lot of awesome terrain was covered.

X2 Please show more. What truck is it made for?

There is nothing cool in Pennsylvania for old truck toppers.
Ask someone around her what a Wildernest is and they would reply................The vast area past the parking lot!

Here are a few of ours. It's a 1971 FJ40 pulling a slightly modified M416 1/4-ton trailer with a roof top tent, annex, and awning from www.IronMan4x4.com.

Nice! I like the way you have the trailer covered for travel and then have the tent raised for camping. What did you use as an assist? Is that a gas shock or a powered actuator?
