I haven't gone through the whole thread yet, but I'm diggin' the swing away. Its cool that it doesn't require a whole new rear bumper. I'd like one like that on my 4Runner, except dual, with jerry can holder on the other side:wings:

Or buy one from TJM or Outback if you don't want to replace your rear bumper......

I didn't go through each page but couple of things that are very cool:

- PTO driven generator :victory:
- landcruiser support rig for a MB car :victory::victory::wings:

What a neat build.

That thing is AWESOME!!!

That PTO generator is SICK!

...the only things I don't get is the ugly front bumper, and the big square box built into the rear floor...

Is that front bumper an air tank? If so - someone should tell that guy that it doesn't need to be round and ugly to hold pressurized air.

Is that square box in the rear for a fuel cell? Maybe a replacement fuel cell for the race vehicle?

...other than those 2 things, that rig is AWESOME, and beautifully built! I wish I had those kinds of resources at my disposal.

Scratch that, I just barely bumped a tree backing up last night and cracked my bumper/taillight (offroad/dark/close quarters). I want a full rear bumper now.(and some aux illumination in the back)

doesn't NEED to be round, but round (cylindrical) pressurized vessels offer the best protection against blowups etc. (wonder why domestic gas tanks are cylindrical? and semi trailers (ovalized) / railroad tankers?...

that IS one of the best builds i've seen so far..if it only was an American truck
