Hey...I see you have HAM and say you are learning to use it. Do you listen to the WIN system much? I hear a LOT of California guys talking. I'm a newb too so I am listening a lot. I will listen for your call sign.Maybe we can talk sometime.
OK...back to the story at hand...I'd kind of like to have one of them $350 almanacs BEfore I go to Baja. But if I cant, and I find some there, I will definitely pick some up!
And I'll only charge $175!

Na, I mainly use it just for vehicle to vehicle comms for the time being....someday I may start expanding.
I am heading down to Baja on Dec 26th...If i find a stash when I am down there, I will pick up some extras and give them to you guys at a normal price haha. Ill let you know what i find.

$200 is insane for a publication that sold for $28 shipped.
I need one also, just found out Discover Baja in San Diego is all sold out, and they dont think the guy that provides them will make any more... we will see.
I too drive down to Baja every winter for a few months of kitesurfing and goofing around. Would love to know where
BarlowRS thinks he might find one or some. I can help pick some up also. I have one idea, the fine book store in Todo Santos might have some.

PS.. anyone ever interested in learning to kitesurf or have a great time in a beautiful bay, bahia la ventana is just fantastic. I got a boston whaler and would be happy to take any expo members out fishing, can also teach some kitesurfing for couple cervezas!
