    Default GRTravel Top

Seems like those of us interested in the GRTravelTop from South Africa are hard at work hijacking the JK/J8 Flippac thread, so it seems worthwhile to start a new thread.

Indeed, if the company follows through on its intention to market in the United States, they'll likely be much to talk about.

Information about this innovative, multivehicle design can be had at:

    Thanks!

The Overland expo looks great! Is there any other expos anyone knows about? I had a look at some RV Camping expos but I think market isn't quite the same.

Another question... What would be your favorite camping or expedition area?

The SEMA show would be a good one. It is an exposition for all kinds of aftermarket products and it is HUGE! The expedition market is growing here in the U.S. and I think your product would do great at the prices you quoted. If the price came down with volume sales even better. Try getting some reviews in some of the U.S. based off road magazines (4wd & sport utility, 4 wheeler, etc). You will be amazed at the response you will get, and it would also generate interest on the forums. Good luck

I like the fact that you get a canopy "built-in" due to the side opening.
This gets you a "free" covered area, and looks like it would be easier to get into.

The Flippac appears like you need to climb over the front seats to get in.
The Flipac looks more secure (because it has support rods on the vehicle). and less likely to rock the vehicle.

    Hmmm.... comprimises.

I really like the rear opening earthroamer.

This would sure be a nice fix for those of us with SPORD (stupid previous owner roof damage)

Now if they only made it for the 60 and you could get it here....
