I found a nice clean Skamper slide in pop up that will fit my Mazda B2600i. Does anyone one know about the quality of these units?

I don't know much about them.
Pretty sure the company has been out of business for many years.
I have seen a few come throught here and they looked OK.
Kinda looked like an old Starcraft, Palomino, Northstar, etc.
The customers that I have talked to like them, but the ones they had were old.
Be prepered to do some work on it if you get it.
The last one I saw had dry rot, but that is typical of most older wood framed camper, so no big deal there.
A differnt guy I talked to said he had to replace the lifting cables on his and it was a PITA. I think there are cables burried inside the walls and the crank to raise and lower the roof is on the outside of the camper ??
I'm thinking that the Starcraft, Palomino, Northstar, etc. all have the crank inside the camper and a little different roof lifting system.
But if it looks good and the price is good, what the heck.
Grab it and go have some fun camping.
It can't be any worse than a tent.
