    Default LJ Power Inverter Installs

Looking for any input (pics) on installation locations, sizes and brands for a power inverter project. I have an 05 LJ and this is the next project on the list. Thanks in advance.

In our TJ, we have a 400 watt one mounted under the front drivers seat. Out of the weather and prying eyes, yet high enough that if it does rain (unexpectedly) it's not sitting in a pool of water.

Here's Mine. Inverter is under the hood up high and wrapped with a shop-vac prefilter. Made a custom harness to the console. it's 400W continuous, 800W peak.

    Default LJ Inverter Install

Monele, has the temp under the hood caused any issues with the inverter? Where did you mount it? I like the console harness, did you strip this off of another inverter?

    Thanks for the ideas.
