Right here in our backyard in Prescott. I have seen adults waddling down the street at night a couple times so they are around.

My Adventure Dog.
Well I finally got my own dog. I used to just babysit everyone else's dogs and that satisfied my need for one, but I got tired of everyone else's dogs being so misbehaved...
This is Nutmeg.
She has been all over the place with me and is loyal as hell. Snow, desert sand, mud, rain (she's not overly fond of rain), and even on the back of our Vespa. Furthest hike was 9.5 miles so far. A little too smart and too protective, but the protective tendencies have paid off twice in the 8 months we've had her... Learns extremely fast, is extremely obedient, cuddles like a freaking teddy bear, rarely barks, and keeps me active.
Oh and she sleeps like a baby in the car. We drove 4 hours without a peep, then she whined, we pulled over, she pee'd, ate dinner, got back in the car, and fell asleep for the next 4 hours of driving.

You can't beat a good Red Heeler. I don't know if I would get a different breed now that I've had one! ...Well maybe a Blue Heeler, but thats about it!
