Quite possibly the ugliest sheetmetal to ever grace 4 wheels... very French.
I generally think Citroens are one of the ugliest vehicles ever. And I'm not an advocate of of any of the redneck-lifted sedans you see (like the 4wd Gremlin!).
BUT - looking at that and forgetting what it is, I think it doesn't look that bad. Sort of like the next generation crossover.
Not saying I'd drive it.
Not saying I'd ever do the same.
But it does have a certain appeal to it.

i LOVE old citroens, i think they are one of the most beautiful cars to come out of france and indeed europe.
i love old land cruisers too. but in the same way that i LOVE chicken curry and i love chocolate, i wouldnt want them mixed together. that thing is terrible, and a complete waste of both a LC and a citroen.

Mark Dees raced a DS-19 in the Baja 1000 many years ago. He DNF'd after taking the wrong fork at a 'Y' and while backing up (most likely at full throttle) tore the entire rear suspension off the car. It was a landmark there for years.
"We go right or left at the french car this year?" I understand that it is now gone.
"I would only buy a french car if I lived in France, and then I would think about it."

I used to swerve around my hallucinations, now I drive right through them.
A Dutch project (ofcourse!) since the DS (goddess in French) is more popular in Holland than it is in France. I used to drive one for years, a magic carpet ride! This Citroen was in the top 5 of most beautiful cars of the century!

Look at the double shocks under the bonnet....
I would rock that in a minute. Grew up with those cars. My dad loved them, so did I when I drove one at college. They were so advanced for the time, and they could drive on three wheels. Didn't have a brake pedal but a switch.
A steering wheel boss designed not to impale you and headlights that turned when you turn the steering wheel.
Pretty cool.
I'd drive the wheels off it. It's so fugly it is cool.
I had a quick look at the winners of 'Le Dakar' since 1979...guess what?
Citroen won 4 times, Toyota? Zero...
