Default Google Chrome for Mac is available!

So far so good - pretty fast and very clean. Safari has competition!

The feature I like about Firefox is the ability to use third-party add-ons
like Adblock Plus. Blocking ads makes visiting sites that have loads of
ads more tolerable, and makes pages load faster.

Because Google draws its income from ads, it's unlikely that Chrome
will enable an Adblock-style feature. But I'll give Chrome for Mac a try.

Thanks for the correction. I checked, and there are a couple of "block the ads" extensions available for the Windows version of Chrome. So there's hope! See the list here:
    https://chrome.google.com/extensions/

The Mac beta version of Chrome doesn't allow the addition of extensions at this point, but it will in time.
