Washing with saltwater

Hey,

So I'm going to Baja and I'll definitely have enough water to drink and do dishes; however, I was wondering:

I've swallowed more than enough seawater in my life growing up in the waves. Could you wash dishes if your water was running low with oceanwater (not in the ocean of course!). I wouldn't see any harm in it especially if it's wash/rinse.

Just wondering. :chef:

We used to do this when traveing on the boat.

As long as you use soap there is no issue, just be sure and rinse with fresh water. Also it helps to boil the saltwater first to purify it and get it warm for more effective washing.
