What metal is used to make these?

Everything is carbon steel, some 3/16" some 1/4" thk

How well would it work on granite? Particularly, non-flat granite?

Test it out and let me know. Don't take it all for granite, some of it is gneice and some is schist.

What is the weight difference between the two?

I like it!
